Abstract
|

|
Since the field of Surgery has been subdividing, specialized surgeons meet more difficulties at their management of massive combined injuries which include many serious problems that belong to several subdivisions of surgical field.
The most important things in the management of those injuries are the close communication and cooperation between srugeons who attend the patient to solve the complex-problems.
During the management of 8 cases of massive combined injury at Dept. of General Surgery, Capita Army Hospital, for past 18 months, those factors, which should be kept in mind at those management are summarized as below and emphasized respectively.
(1) Life Saving.
(2) Restoration of Structures and Functions.
(3) Cosmetic Result.
(4) Sequelae and Rehabilitation.
(5) Short Hospitalization.
